| For the 2002 Super bowl, I went to a party where they had a mechanical bull set up in the backyard. There was a contest to see who could ride it the longest- and about 25 guys entered. In the preliminary round you could try as many times as you wanted. The guys with the five best times would go on to the finals. I tried three times to qualify, and finally made it into the finals with a time of 34 seconds. |

| In the final round each person got one try. One guy managed to stay on for 53 seconds- a commanding lead. However, when my turn came at the end, something just “clicked”- I discovered a new technique for balancing. It suddenly become much easier and I managed to stay on in the finals for over a minute- winning first prize, which was a cool Arizona Diamondbacks 2001 World Champions Jersey- Not the $50,000 you win on Fear Factor, but I'll take it! |
