For most of the year 2000, I was working 70-80 hours per week. The company where I worked was short-handed. Add to that several major deadlines, and an unending backlog of work, and "presto" you've got a recipe for long hours. There were several occasions when I worked throughout the night and into the next morning.
The most hours I've ever worked in a single week: 100 hours
*Arrived at work at 7am, worked straight through until 8am the next day, slept a few hours, went back to work |
